If you feel that your life has become too serious with an ‘all work and no play’ approach or if you find it difficult to allow your creativity to flourish, then this meditation is just for you.
Please note – it is advisable to listen to this guided meditation first to re-establish a connection with your inner child, before you attempt to listen to the Helping to Heal your Inner Child Meditation (also available for download on this site).
- Have a doll or a pillow handy to utilise as a proxy for your inner child.
- If you have trouble remembering yourself as a child or how your childhood years played out, then have a photo(s) of you as a child with you when you are meditating, as a gentle reminder.
- Get into a comfortable position before commencing the meditation.
- Minimise distractions where possible. i.e. Turn off your phone; find a quiet space and clear a time for yourself where there will be no interruptions.
